COVID-19 Updates & FAQ

If you missed our mailers this week, we sent out an updated COVID-19 Measures on Monday and an informative FAQ yesterday. Catch up if you've been out of the loop!

Home Workouts

In the event that we have to close the gym, we will post daily programmes for our members to do at home. If we see a major increase in the number of our members self-isolating, or the situation changes, we may bring forward the posting of home programming. There are thousands of gyms and personal trainers posting home workouts. However, we wanted to provide members with a programme that will allow maintenance and development of strength and mobility as well as a conditioning piece.

Our programme will comprise:

  • SLEVEN Successories: Functional body building style home workouts that will serve as your strength training. Think all the successory stuff we already do but in place of kettlebells, dumbbells and barbells, we will be using bands for resistance. We will film any unusual or technical movements and post to our MetCon programme each day. To get the most out of your training, we recommend getting some bands (we have included a link to some suitable ones below) but if you already have weights or kit at home, you can use those too. We suggest getting a small circle band set and resistance bands. If you only buy one resistance band, we recommend red or black as this will be the most versatile. We recommend buying these bands or similar online NOW so you when we're all in isolation, you don't miss out on the gains!

  • WFH: WOD From Home! We're going to get good at push-ups, air squats, burpees and sit-ups! Make sure you have your skipping rope at home as we will be including dubs in these workouts. If you don't have one yet, buy your very own made to measure Sleven branded SGF speed rope at the gym!

Buy Small Circle Resistance Band Set
Buy Resistance Band (Red or Black)

SLEVEN Super Saturday

Due to the ongoing crisis, unfortunately, the Norwegians have had to cancel their travel plans. Further, we have just received news that the Yard Games have been postponed until further notice. So we have downgraded Super Saturday to a regular Saturday! We are conscious that many of you will be eager to train and with the numbers now limited to 10 in a class, we are reducing the MetCon class to 45 minutes and adding a second one to allow more members the opportunity to train.

The classes are available to book on Wodify now!

DUE TO DEMAND ON SATURDAY, WE KINDLY ASK THAT YOU BOOK IN FOR ONLY ONE CLASS TO ALLOW OTHERS A CHANCE TO TRAIN.

Victory Grips are Here!

Since we introduced Victory Grips to the Sleven Shop, you have been ripping significantly less and as a result, your training has benefitted markedly. Many have found the grips to be a revelation! We now have three finger Stealth grips in varying sizes for both men and women in stock which we will measure and fit for you at the gym.

Grips cost £50 and will be a gamechanger for your training!

FAQ

We announced updated measures yesterday in an effort to minimise the risk of Coronavirus at Sleven. If you missed it, you can read that here.

We appreciate that there's huge uncertainty at the moment and so we've compiled an FAQ to try and address some of the questions that you may have.

Will you be closing?

We are committed to staying open and ensuring the least amount of impact on your training as possible. We're keeping a close eye on government guidance so far as Coronavirus is concerned and we will continue to refine our approach and make regular updates to all members.

There are two scenarios which could change that:

  1. We are forced to close by the government or other appropriate body.
  2. A time comes where we see no other reasonable option to safeguard the health of our members and staff.

Will you be posting home workouts?

In the event that we close, we'll posting daily home programmes for our members. At the moment, we are working tirelessly running classes, writing up class programming and, crucially, cleaning the gym round the clock.

If we see a major increase in the number of our members self-isolating, or the situation changes, we may bring forward the posting of home workouts. We are keenly aware that there are a MILLION home WODs online. However, we want a programme that you can follow daily and see improvements in your strength, fitness and mobility.

As such, we have devised the following blueprint for a programme:

  • Successories: Functional body building style home workouts that will serve as your strength training. Think all the successory stuff we already do but we sub in bands. We will film the movements and post to our MetCon programme daily. Having the below two band sets will be a pre-requisite but if you have weights or kit at home, you can always sub those in too. We have included links below to a hip circle band set and resistance bands you can buy off Amazon. If you only buy one resistance band, we recommend red or black as this will be the most versatile. We recommend buying these bands or similar online NOW so you when we're all in isolation, you don't miss out on the gains!

  • WOD: We will post a daily home WOD with little kit. We're going to get good at push-ups, air squats, burpees and sit-ups! Make sure you have your skipping rope at home as we will be including dubs in these workouts. If you don't have one yet, we sell Sleven branded SGF speed ropes at the gym!

Buy Small Circle Resistance Band Set
Buy Resistance Band (Red or Black)

Can I freeze my membership?

If we close the gym or you are unable to attend the gym because of illness or self-isolation, then we will freeze your membership. There will be no fee charged for doing so. Email us and we will freeze your membership for the duration of this crisis.

Can I continue to pay my membership?

In short, yes! We are committed to providing value for our members even in the event that the gym is closed for a spell - we won't be disappearing! We have outlined our plans to post daily, Sleven-specific programmes for you to do at home and we will, of course, be on-hand and available via both email and social media to respond to any questions that you may have. We will also be providing other information, such as nutrition advice in conjunction with our partners, pH Nutrition, to help address what, for many, will be unique and challenging conditions. We hope that as many of our members as possible will continue to support us in order to give Sleven the best chance of bouncing back when the current crisis abates.

To continue paying your fees if we close, please let us know you would like to opt-in by clicking on the below button.

I'd Like to Continue Paying my Membership

What should I be eating if I'm self-isolating?

First things first, the principles do not change. You still need to eat nutrient dense foods in the right amounts for your goal. Do not think you need to start doing something weird and wonderful!

Maybe you need to lower the amount of calories you are consuming due to the reduction in movement and intensity of training but other than that you shouldn’t be stressing about much else.

To find out how much you should be eating you can use the pH Nutrition Calorie Calculator!

Updated COVID-19 Measures

Copy

We hope you are managing to stay calm, healthy and continue as best you can in such an uncertain time. We're keeping a close eye on developments so far as the impact of coronavirus is concerned. We will refine our approach in line with developments and make regular updates to all members.

We'd like to thank you all for your continuous efforts in washing hands and wiping gym equipment after use. During this difficult time, we wanted to reassure you that we are committed to ensuring the least amount of impact to your training as possible.

We wanted to bring you up to date with a few important changes that will be made with effect from Tuesday 17 March. It is widely anticipated that there will be a steep rise in the rate of infection in the coming days. To try and reduce the potential for the spreading of the virus amongst our members, we are taking the following steps:

  1. Reducing the size of all classes to 10 members.  We will be cancelling everyone out of classes in the order they were booked, so the last 4 members to book in to a class of 14 will lose their spots (please check your class reservations to see if you still have your booking).
  2. We will set up 10 stations for the day's WOD which will be used, and then wiped down, by each class.
  3. The stations will be set up and remain in place all day, so members are ENCOURAGED to come in during Open Gym which runs ALL DAY. We know that many of you are now working from home and it may be more convenient for you to come in and train during the day. If you are on an unlimited pack, don't worry about booking. If you are on a limited pack, please book in one of the Open Gym slots.
  4. No sharing of equipment - this will mean no partner or team WODs for the time being and no sharing of barbells in Strength, or other classes. Programming will be adjusted accordingly.

If you have any underlying health conditions that you think may leave you vulnerable to infection, please stay at home for the foreseeable future. If you're feeling unwell but do not demonstrate the COVID-19 symptoms, please do the right thing and stay at home until you're feeling better.

If you think you might have symptoms, or could have been in contact with any person that has or could test positive for COVID-19, then we urge you to inform us as soon as possible. You can contact us by clicking on the button below.

Contact Us

We are committed to staying open and providing our services for as long as we reasonably can. There are two scenarios which could change that:

  1. We are forced to close by the government or other appropriate body.
  2. A time comes where we see no other option that would ensure the continued safety of our members and staff.

Last Day to Sign-Up!

Our 6 week programs have a new intake TOMORROW! Secure your spot for the 12th March intake. The reason we start on a Thursday is simply to onboard you over 3 days and not overwhelm you. This makes it easier to plan and get set up over the weekend.

Buy Now

Our six week programs will provide you with the following:

Personal Nutrition Coach - Tom is not just someone you check in with and get generic praise from. He will help you navigate obstacles that would have previously caused you to give up in frustration and constantly empower you with the kind of knowledge that puts you in the driver’s seat of your diet. Tom is at the box a few days a week to help keep you accountable and answer any questions or concerns you have face-to-face.

Accountability - This is one of the key areas in making progress with your nutrition. We use a mixture of our app, email and your check-ins with Tom at Sleven a few days a week to ensure you stay on track.

Personalised calories and macros - We provide the framework and you personalise the details to make your diet fit perfectly into your lifestyle. You can customise everything from your calories to your meal timings. We have recently added automatic recipe calculations as well so no more trying to figure out how much you should be eating to hit your targets

Simplified nutrition guide -  Our easy to follow nutrition guide will ensure you start your program on the right foot and answer any initial questions you have to ensure you experience zero uncertainty at the start of your journey.

3 Recipe & Meal Plan Packs - For the times you struggle with inspiration or feel like the pressure of decision making is too much you can refer to these packs that come complete with MyFitnessPal barcodes (no more entering a million ingredients in!)

pH Nutrition App Access - It’s nice to have some data to track your progress alongside how you are feeling and performing. Our app provides you with a one-stop-shop of progress checking so you can make sure you are on the road to progress.

Our step-by-step six week program is designed for those who perform any kind of functional fitness. It is delivered through our app and we drip feed the program so you are not overwhelmed at any point!

That’s a real issue with a lot of online plans, they are just one big information dump and you end up reading about things that you are nowhere near ready to take on board.

Making manageable, small changes will allow you to build momentum and not get crushed by a tsunami of stress, overwhelm, and confusion. We have a structured plan to follow for the six weeks and clear advice on how to progress beyond this!

Competition Round-Up

Last weekend, Sleven had a fantastic time on the competition floor with seven athletes competing at The Rainhill Trials and The London Throwdown. Not only did we have athletes compete but we had two podium finishes!

Agnieszka Badura, our superstar lunchtime regular, topped the Kennedy Division with 3 out of 6 WOD wins, including a win in the final which she only needed to show up to. Agnieszka went all Mat Fraser on her competition, beating them convincingly just because she could! This was Aga's first individual competition and has given her a boost of confidence before the Yard Games on March 21st.

Our other two competitors were Lucy Long and Adam Weber, who both competed in the top division, Rocket. Adam placed well above his seeding of 69, managed to book a spot in the final and finished in 12th which was a sensational result. Lucy was equally happy with her result, finishing above her seeding of 80th and despite not having done double-unders for several months due to shin splints, survived the competition injury free and hungry for more.

If you're keen to get involved in the next Rainhill Trials in Manchester, the ballot is now open! Rainhill is an accessible competition with three divisions and is run on July 24th-26th. The ballot will close on TUESDAY 31ST MARCH with all entrants being contacted the following week to let them know how to claim their spot if successful!

Coaches Loz & Jamie, Chris and Sam, made their way East for the London Throwdown on Saturday and came within a second of tying for first place, finishing on the podium in 3rd! The guys and gals put in a brilliant shift. Highlights included Chris PBing his clean & jerk with 135 kg and as a team, placed second in that WOD. Their lowest placing was fourth so they were very much in the running for a podium from the get-go. The team performed phenomenally in the final WOD with everyone in the competition impressed with Jamie's devil's press technique, something she has perfected over the years at Sleven!

That's not it for our superstars, they're off to Leicester to compete at Battle for Middle Ground this weekend in the March Madness Elite Same Sex Pairs. We'll post as many updates as we can on our instagram and also post a link to the leaderboard on our instagram linktree.

GOOD LUCK TEAM!

In response to the growing threat from Coronavirus, we've increased our cleaning, especially in the toilets and kitchen area, to try and reduce the likelihood of transmission of the virus. We have also removed the hand towel from the bathroom - please use either the hand dryer or paper towels provided.

We would ask our members to take the following action in order to try and mitigate the risks for all of us:

  • Wash your hands upon arrival and after your session.
  • Wipe down equipment after use with disinfectant wipes.
  • If you use paper towels or tissue to blow your nose, please put them in the bin - do not leave them on the gym floor.
  • Do not wash your face in the kitchen sink.
  • Use your own drinks bottle - do not use a Sleven mug or one of our shakers.

Please check the government's response website for additional resources, FAQs and guidance.

SLEVEN Super Saturday

The community aspect of CrossFit plays a massive part in what we do and on Saturday 21st of March we have two great events planned that showcase this.

First off, we have The Yard Games in Peckham where we have over 8 teams and counting competing. This is a local, grassroots competition designed for the average Joe CrossFitter. We had a fanstastic time at this competition in November with some of our members having their first taste of competition. Many are now competing again for the second time!

Given that it’s so close, and just like in November, we'd love as many Sleven supporters there as possible to cheer on our athletes. If you're interested in competing but don't have a partner, don't worry! Email Coach Loz or grab one of us and let us know you’re interested and we’ll do our best to find you an ace partner.

Book Yard Games

What's all this about Norwegians?! Well, do we have a treat in store for you! We have arranged with Grenland CrossFit, in Skien, Norway to host a friendly MetCon on the same day! Grenland are bringing 20 of their members and we'll be welcoming them Sleven style with a 40 person capacity MetCon class.

Our teams of four will be split so that we have two Grenlanders and two Sleveners working shoulder to shoulder. Afterwards, many of us will be going to support the crew at The Yard while the Norwegians will be going to the pub for some typical English fare.

Please note, as a result of all these events, we have cancelled all other classes on Saturday 21st. There is a limit of 20 spots for Sleven members so book yourself in on Wodify!

Your Weekly Dose of SLEVEN: Nutrition Challenge Edition! ????

Copy

Newsletter 4 March 2020

"It has been a rewarding 30 days seeing everyone make fantastic progress with their nutrition. Hearing the feedback of people not only looking better, but feeling better as well as crushing their training is amazing. The way we set the challenge up was to provide people with something that can be continued beyond the 30 days, not just to get a decent before and after picture. We are so excited about being part of the Sleven CrossFit team and look forward to helping everyone with all things nutrition."

- Liam & Tom -

Top Transformation

Without further ado, the winner of the Sleven pH Nutrition Challenge is Jamie Brunsdon! We had several contenders but Jamie's hard work and dedication in the kitchen and in the gym set her apart from the others and her results are clear for all to see.

CrossFit is an incredibly demanding sport and Jamie has been able not only to up her performance in the gym but improve her body composition at the same time. This is no small feat as most other nutrition challenges starve their contestants and have them overtrain to the point of exhaustion. Jamie has found a sustainable way of eating that not only fuels her WODs but will turn heads at the beach in the summer!

Jamie has several competitions coming up, including the London Throwdown this weekend and the challenge has left her in fantastic shape and ready to compete. Jamie is going to continue her journey, working with pH Nutrition, refining and perfecting the process as she becomes increasingly addicted to the gains!

Jamie's prize is a brand new pair of Nike MetCon 5s By You!

"The challenge has killed all of my sugar cravings! I’ve not had night time cravings and it hasn’t been as difficult as I expected to resist the constant mass of chocolates, biscuits and cakes at the office. I also found it to be easy to fit lots of “normal” things into my macros. With previous nutrition challenges, I was on such restricted calories that simple things like chicken or a protein shake would blow out my allowance for the day!"

- Jamie -

Spirit of the Challenge

This award is more holistic in its criteria. It was important for us to select someone who adhered to the challenge, made sustainable changes to their habits and provide a platform for future gains. Not only this, the spirit of the challenge award needed to go to someone who was active in encouraging other members, who shared recipes and ideas and generally provided top banter.

We're delighted to announce Nick Lyell is our winner! Better Nick has been integral to the challenge Whatsapp group chat, keeping morale high with both his successes and failures, pictures of his jerk marinated tofu and ice cold lagers on the beach! Nick found the support he received from pH and Sleven's coaching team helped him stay accountable trying to make the right choices when food shopping and less "bad" choices when he was out and about!

Nick's prize is one of Sleven's new and exclusive snapback baseball caps!

"I found my nutrition was more structured and I was motivated to keep it up. Coming from a pretty poor and low knowledge of food and diet, I found the whole process really good and I will stick with it!"

- Better Nick -

All of our participants deserve a shoutout. We saw people share some fantastic recipes, tips, tricks and even photos of some dubious powders that were transported internationally!

What's Next?

Our nutrition challenge was designed to introduce Tom, Liam and pH Nutrition's methods and give you a taste of what's to come. Sleven, in partnership with pH Nutrtion will be providing nutritional services continually throughout the year! If you weren't fully on board with a challenge but would like to dial in your diet, now's your opportunity to get involved.

Four of our own, Coaches Loz & Jamie, Chris and Sam are making their way East for the London Throwdown this Saturday, 7 March! This is an established and competitive team throwdown and our team goes into the event seeded in second place, meaning we have a genuinely high chance of a podium (no pressure guys!).

If you'd like to make your way down to support, the competition starts at 9am at CrossFit 1971 in Stratford. There will be a bunch of the coaching team going down to support after classes at 13:00. If you'd like to train in the morning and then make your way with us to support for the latter stages of the competion, please meet us at the gym.

GOOD LUCK TEAM!

Judges Needed!

The Summer Social is London's leading sports and fitness festival comprising a range of activities including a CrossFit-style throwdown, DJs, street food booths, bars and plenty of taps aff! Sleven is planning on making this a huge day out for the box and intend on taking over 30 people, a gazebo, Willow and plenty of beers and snacks. The event is only a short distance from the gym at the Richmond Athletic Association on Saturday 30th May.

After speaking to the organisers, the only way we are going to be able to get to the numbers we'd like, we need FIVE ADDITIONAL JUDGES. The throwdown is a fun, inclusive competitition and you don't need any previous judging experience to get involved. With over 40 teams on the waitlist, this would ensure our entry and a fantastic day out for participants, judges and spectators alike!

So who wants to take part, drink some beers in the sun, eat some burgers and judge some of your fellow SLEVENERS kick ass!?

In November, over 20 Sleveners made their way to Peckham to compete at the inaugral Yard Games and had a brilliant time. If you missed out, you're in luck! The Yard is hosting its second one day, same-sex pairs competion. Coach Loz has already recruited over 6 teams and we're hoping for more sign-ups in what is looking like another great day out for Sleven.

The competition is super local which means NO TRAVELLING and it is likely to be a relatively small comp, so if you haven’t competed before, this would be a great opportunity to get a taste of what it’s like on the competition floor.

Given that it’s so close, we’ll no doubt have a good number of Sleven supporters there to cheer you on. So, grab a partner and register using the link below!

Priority Waitlist is Here!

We spent over a year badgering Wodify to introduce one and finally, they have acted! As of 22:31 tonight, we will be switching on the Priority Waitlist. This will automatically move you from the waitlist into the class when a space becomes available in the order that you were added to the waitlist. You will also receive an email notifying you of your reservation with the option to cancel. This means no more trading (yes, we know this goes on!) and no waiting anxiously for a spot to free up and rushing to book in. We feel that this will provide a much fairer system and a waitlist that actually reflects demand.

What about the 8-hour late hour cancellation window? Automatically putting you in the class right before it starts isn’t a great experience, so the system won't work that way. Instead, all members on the waitlist will receive an email notifying them that a space has become available and the first to reply will get in to the class - exactly the way it works right now.

Some Points To Note

  • If you are first on the waitlist, you have a high possibility of attending a class. This means you are responsible for freeing up your spot if you do not think you will attend.
  • Please be courteous to other members and if you know you won't be able to attend a class that you are on the waitlist for or reserved into, please cancel at your earliest convenience to allow other members the opportunity of getting a place - do not wait until the last second to cancel so as to avoid a charge.
  • Further to this point, there are lots of cancellations immediately prior the 8-hour cancellation window and if you do not wish to be promoted from the waitlist, it is your responsibility to remove yourself from the waitlist. Our late cancellation and no-show fees are still in effect.
  • The cut-off is 22:30 for the 06:30 morning class, including Open Gym, so if you go to bed before 22:30 and do not intend on attending, make sure you remove yourself from the waitlist.

In November, over 20 Sleveners made their way to Peckham to compete at the Yard Games and had a brilliant time. If you missed out, you're in luck! The Yard is hosting its second one day, same-sex pairs competion. Coach Loz has already recruited over 5 teams and we're hoping for more sign-ups in what is looking like another great day out for Sleven.

If you're interested but don't have a partner, don't worry! Email Coach Loz or grab one of us and let us know you’re interested and we’ll do our best to find you an ace partner.

More ELEMENTS!

You've asked and you have received! For those newer members, you now have more Elements classes on the schedule:

Thursdays: 07:30-08:30 (starts Feb 20)
Mondays-Thursdays: 12:45-13:45

This allows those of you who prefer the mornings or lunch to work on those tekkers!

January has come and gone and for many of you, those New Year's resolutions might already be in the distant past! Goals should be made to keep and our workshop will help you set achievable goals in the short, medium and long term.

This Saturday, after Strength, our lovely member Sophie Fielding is holding a goal setting workshop sponsored by Lululemon. We will provide the materials so all you need to bring is an open mind and some goals to share!

The Workshop is free for members and non-members alike but please book in via Wodify so we get an idea of numbers. You will be splitting off into little groups, sharing ideas, goals and ways to actually achieve those goals!

This Saturday after STRENGTH at 13:00-14:30

Valentine's Day FNL

Oh, Valentine's Day: the holiday that reminds you that if you don't have a special someone, you're alone. Luckily for you, that needn't be the case!

There's no extra cost, just book in Wodify. We have programmed three romantic WODs just for you and that lucky someone!

If you already have a partner who's not a member, bring them along! No FNL would be complete without a visit to Nando's so we've even got you covered for the romantic dinner.

Summer Social

Does the Yard Games sound too intense for you? There is another local comp called Summer Social in Richmond, just a short train ride from Sleven on May 30. The comp includes a massive beer garden, with crazy good food, awesome DJ's and one hell of an after-party! Sleven already has two mixed teams of 4 entered and we're keen to get more members involved.

We've seen many other boxes get huge turnouts for this competition and with it being held in May, it'll be warm out which will mean there'll be lots of "taps aff!" This is not a "serious" competition, it's more about throwing down then having a few beers after. There's tons of other events on during the day so it ends up being a huge party.

All you have to do to enter is find 3 friends (mixed teams of 4, 2 girls and 2 guys) and sign up! We currently have two girls looking for two boys to make up a team so if you're keen, email Coach Loz or grab one of us and let us know you’re interested and we’ll do our best to find you a team.

The one you want to sign-up for is called "Throwdown" even though the dodgeball looks like fun too!

Going from Strength to STRENGTH ????

Copy

We are keenly aware of the level of demand for the mid-week 6.30pm and 7.30pm classes generally and, especially, for the Tuesday and Thursday Strength classes. We appreciate the frustration that this has caused and we are pleased to announce steps that we hope will alleviate the issue.

Changes

The following changes will take effect from next week:

  • The capacity of the Tuesday and Thursday STRENGTH classes will be increased from 14 to 20. These classes will focus on Olympic lifting and strength work and you will see very little, if any, change in the programming to accommodate this. You all for the most part, work in pairs anyway!
  • The length of the existing 11am class on Saturday will be reduced from 90 minutes to 60 minutes and an additional class will be added to the schedule at midday, adding 14 places. The programming in these classes will focus on barbell cycling and SWODs to a greater extent than the midweek classes. Get ready to throw around some heavy shit!

We have introduced lunchtime Elements classes and looking to add morning Elements to the schedule with a view to bringing in new members who are more likely to train at those times and avoid adding further demand for the already scarce places for midweek evening classes.

Booking Policies

We would like to remind all members of our booking policies:

Booking: Class reservations open at the start time of the class in two week's time (336 hours to be exact) and for the most popular classes members will be filling up these classes within 15 minutes of the window opening.

Waitlist: The waitlist works on a first come first served basis so set push notifications on your email app and be quick!

Late Cancellation Policy: If you cancel a session within 8 hours of the start time of the class, you will be charged £2.50 and if you are on a limited session membership, you will lose that pass.

No-Show Policy: A no-show will incur a £5 charge and if you are on a limited session membership, you will lose that pass.

Valentine's Day FNL

Oh, Valentine's Day: the holiday that reminds you that if you don't have a special someone, you're alone. Luckily for you, that needn't be the case.

If you're feeling lonely on Friday 14th, come on down to Sleven where you'll get given a partner! We won't let you in on the WODs just yet but we're happy to announce the following theme:

Love at First Sight
The Break Up
The Make Up

If you already have a partner, bring them along! No FNL would be complete without a visit to Nando's so we've even got you covered for the romantic dinner.

Support Oz Fundraiser Recap

The Sleven Support Australia Fundraiser was a resounding success and we're incredibly grateful for our member's support. At the time of writing, we have raised a whopping £890!! This money is going to go directly to families and servicemen directly impacted by the terrible wildfires and help those most vulnerable rebuild their lives.

The WOD included odd object carries and our crazy members took it to the next level carrying each other, stools and even benches! If you'd still like to donate, it's not too late and you can do so below.
