We spent over a year badgering Wodify to introduce one and finally, they have acted! As of 22:31 tonight, we will be switching on the Priority Waitlist. This will automatically move you from the waitlist into the class when a space becomes available in the order that you were added to the waitlist. You will also receive an email notifying you of your reservation with the option to cancel. This means no more trading (yes, we know this goes on!) and no waiting anxiously for a spot to free up and rushing to book in. We feel that this will provide a much fairer system and a waitlist that actually reflects demand.
What about the 8-hour late hour cancellation window? Automatically putting you in the class right before it starts isn’t a great experience, so the system won’t work that way. Instead, all members on the waitlist will receive an email notifying them that a space has become available and the first to reply will get in to the class – exactly the way it works right now.
Some Points To Note
If you are first on the waitlist, you have a high possibility of attending a class. This means you are responsible for freeing up your spot if you do not think you will attend.
Please be courteous to other members and if you know you won’t be able to attend a class that you are on the waitlist for or reserved into, please cancel at your earliest convenience to allow other members the opportunity of getting a place – do not wait until the last second to cancel so as to avoid a charge.
Further to this point, there are lots of cancellations immediately prior the 8-hour cancellation window and if you do not wish to be promoted from the waitlist, it is your responsibility to remove yourself from the waitlist. Our late cancellation and no-show fees are still in effect.
The cut-off is 22:30 for the 06:30 morning class, including Open Gym, so if you go to bed before 22:30 and do not intend on attending, make sure you remove yourself from the waitlist.
In November, over 20 Sleveners made their way to Peckham to compete at the Yard Games and had a brilliant time. If you missed out, you’re in luck! The Yard is hosting its second one day, same-sex pairs competion. Coach Loz has already recruited over 5 teams and we’re hoping for more sign-ups in what is looking like another great day out for Sleven.
The competition is super local which means NO TRAVELLING and it is likely to be a relatively small comp, so if you haven’t competed before, this would be a great opportunity to get a taste of what it’s like on the competition floor.
Given that it’s so close, we’ll no doubt have a good number of Sleven supporters there to cheer you on. So, grab a partner and register using the link below!
If you’re interested but don’t have a partner, don’t worry! Email Coach Loz or grab one of us and let us know you’re interested and we’ll do our best to find you an ace partner.
Are you worried about losing your gains on holiday? Don’t want to just lounge by a pool reading books and drinking Margaritas? Coach Liz has a solution for you.
